Irish Music by Brazilian band in Rio de Janeiro

This is for those who like Brazil, Ireland and music. Since 2006 on the road, the Brazilian group Café Irlanda is gaining more space on the night of the wonderful city. As the name implies, the band that presents the best of traditional Irish music also put a little taste of Brazil taste, which is clear for example in the version of song Feira de Mangaio.

The musicians define the group as a product of the internet, it was through the network that the members met in search of information, marked a first date to play together, and this meeting have already left with the idea of group formation.

The Members are Sinivirta Daniel, who along with Rique Meirelles, is one of the founders of the group also includes Gregory Caio, hard rock and medieval music fan, David Paladini, business manager, touches Bodhrán, and has even music lessons in Dublin, and also Kevin Shortall, son of Irish father and Brazilian mother, studied and played for five years in London, and back to Brazil she joined the group.

The way of playing clubs like how it's performed by Irish musicians and Brazilian, very close to the two cultures. After the first meeting outside the virtual world the idea of forming the group was already developing.

Playing since 2006, the group has won a statewide contest for bands, competing against more popular musical styles such as pop-rock and samba, and is gaining more space in the Rio, no easy task known as a stronghold city of samba and bohemia.
